Ubicada en pleno centro de Sevilla, se encuentra la antigua fábrica de sombreros Fernández y Roche, que fue proyectada por el arquitecto José Espiau y Muñoz y en la actualidad se encuentra abandonada.
El proyecto trata de recuperar esta primitiva industria artesanal a partir de las reivindicaciones que distintos colectivos están llevando a cabo, con el fin de crear un espacio creativo, con talleres y zonas de trabajo, que permita también las visitas culturales al antiguo edificio. |
Located in the heart of Seville, there is the old hat factory 'Fernández y Roche', which was designed by the architect José Espiau y Muñoz and is now abandoned.
The project seeks to recover this primitive handicraft industry from the demands that different groups are carrying out, in order to create a creative space, with workshops and work areas, which also allows cultural visits to the old building. |
